Deck overview

This deck is a casual Gruul landfall and creature-combat deck commanded by Rulik Mons, Warren Chief. Its primary game plan revolves around playing lands to trigger modest landfall synergies on creatures like Territorial Scythecat, Grove Rumbler, and Baloth Woodcrasher, while using Rulik Mons to provide incremental ramp or Goblin tokens on attack. Because the list features seventeen tap-lands and minimal ramp outside of Sol Ring, its early turns are spent fixing colors rather than accelerating. The deck attempts to close games by swinging with large trampling creatures backed by single-target combat tricks. However, it lacks tutors, countermagic, stack interaction, and mass evasion, making its clock slow and giving opponents ample time to find answers. It functions best in relaxed, battlecruiser environments where combat damage is the primary win condition.
