Deck overview

This Golgari deck is led by Baba Lysaga, Night Witch, blending multi-type permanent sacrifice with resilient land recursion engines. The core strategy uses multi-type cards—such as artifact lands, enchantment creatures, and man-lands—to fulfill Baba Lysaga's three-type sacrifice requirement with minimal board investment. In doing so, the commander draws three cards, drains each opponent for 3 life, and fuels the graveyard every turn. The deck leverages this steady card advantage and filled graveyard through land recursion tools like Ramunap Excavator, Conduit of Worlds, and Splendid Reclamation. It transitions into the late game by producing overwhelming token armies via Titania, Protector of Argoth, pumping the board with Blossoming Bogbeast, or assembling the iconic Dark Depths and Thespian's Stage land combo. Backed by flexible spot removal and life gain, the deck grinds down opposing life totals while building an unstoppable resource advantage.
