[B-3] Super Shredding [+1/+1] by sageofsixdabs

Format: Commander

Commander: Super Shredder

Bracket: 3

DeckCheck Threat Index: 29

Deck overview

This mono-black deck leverages 24 copies of Shadowborn Apostle to assemble explosive creature boards and tutor game-ending Demon payoffs directly onto the battlefield. Super Shredder serves as an aggressive, low-cost commander that grows rapidly with +1/+1 counters whenever permanents leave play, transforming Apostle sacrifices into a formidable menace threat. The primary win condition revolves around sacrificing multiple Apostles to tutor Bloodletter of Aclazotz and Archfiend of Despair, creating a devastating damage-multiplying engine that converts moderate combat damage into lethal end-step life loss. Thrumming Stone acts as the deck's premier artifact accelerator, allowing a single Apostle cast to ripple through the library and flood the board with dozens of creatures. Backed by explosive black rituals, reanimation backups, and targeted library disruption from Bitter Ordeal, the deck creates overwhelming mid-game board pressure that closes out multiplayer tables in a single decisive combat rotation.
