Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari "Superfriends" deck built around Carth the Lion, aiming to generate card advantage through planeswalker ETB and death triggers while reducing the cost of loyalty abilities. The primary win conditions are an infinite combo using Chain of Smog with either Witherbloom Apprentice or Professor Onyx (Magecraft triggers), and the slow accumulation of planeswalker emblems and tokens via Doubling Season. The deck relies heavily on its commander to dig for planeswalkers and accelerate their loyalty activations. Without efficient tutors, it often must draw into its combo pieces naturally, making the game plan somewhat inconsistent. The mana base is simple - 36 basics with minimal ramp - leading to a midrange pace that typically wins through a single combo turn or overwhelming planeswalker advantage.
