Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mardu combat deck commanded by Tsagan, Raider Warlord. It maximizes the value of creatures with first strike and double strike, using Tsagan's attack trigger to distribute large power boosts across the entire board. Low-cost double strike creatures like Boros Swiftblade and Swiftblade Vindicator quickly convert Tsagan's static buffs into lethal damage. The deck doubles these attack triggers using Isshin, Two Heavens as One and Windcrag Siege, accelerating damage output to eliminate opponents across turns 4 through 6. Extra combat phases from Aurelia, the Warleader and Karlach, Fury of Avernus provide decisive finishing power, while an infinite combat loop between Aurelia and Helm of the Host gives the deck an alternative win condition. Defensively, free spells like Deflecting Swat and Flawless Maneuver protect aggressive board states without stalling mana development.
