Deck overview

This deck is a classic competitive mono-blue Stax Combo build centered on Teferi, Temporal Archmage. The primary game plan seeks to generate rapid mana velocity using vintage-level mana rocks, drop oppressive asymmetric stax pieces such as Winter Orb, Static Orb, and Trinisphere, and break parity through Teferi's -1 loyalty ability to untap lands and mana rocks. Once parity is broken and opposing development is suppressed, the deck accesses The Chain Veil using a dense artifact tutor suite. Activating The Chain Veil repeatedly alongside Teferi's untap ability creates an infinite loop of planeswalker loyalty activations, mana, and card draw from the command zone. This loop draws the library and closes the game immediately on the same turn using Walking Ballista or Thassa's Oracle, heavily insulated by high-efficiency interaction.
