Deck overview

This deck executes an aggressive poison strategy helmed by Fynn, the Fangbearer. By curving out with 1-mana deathtouch creatures into a Turn 2 commander cast, it starts dealing poison counters on Turn 2 and creates critical pressure on Turn 3. The low mana curve allows rapid board development, turning small creatures into lethal threats that require only five unblocked hits per opponent to eliminate them. Mid-game card draw engines like Toski, Bearer of Secrets and Guardian Project maintain hand size as creatures trade off. Proliferate sources such as Evolution Sage, Contaminant Grafter, and Karn's Bastion bypass opposing ground defenses to finish off poisoned players. While fast out of the gate, the deck relies heavily on combat damage and remains susceptible to creature sweepers and targeted removal aimed at Fynn, the Fangbearer. Dedicated protection spells like Heroic Intervention and backup overruns like Beastmaster Ascension provide resilience when early aggression meets resistance.
