Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black Zombie tribal and sacrifice deck built around Ghoulcaller Gisa. The central game plan is straightforward: deploy early Zombie support pieces, cast Gisa on turn 4 or 5, and sacrifice high-power creatures to create a swarm of 2/2 black Zombie tokens. Once a critical mass of tokens is on the battlefield, the deck pumps them with lords like Undead Warchief, Death Baron, and Cemetery Reaper, or drains opponents with aristocrats staples like Ayara, First of Locthwain, Vengeful Dead, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. The list lacks tutors and fast mana, relying instead on high card density and draw engines such as Undead Augur and Cryptbreaker to sustain card flow. Its primary vulnerability is a total absence of protective spells or haste enablers, meaning Gisa must survive an entire rotation before operating, and the resulting army must dodge board wipes across multiple combat cycles to secure a win.
