Deck overview

This Golgari deck pairs Slurrk, All-Ingesting and Ikra Shidiqi, the Usurper to turn aristocratic sacrifice loops into massive, durable threats and overwhelming life totals. The primary plan uses recursive fodder like Bloodghast and Reassembling Skeleton alongside sacrifice outlets to distribute counters via Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest and Slurrk. Ikra converts wide or tall attacks into massive life buffers, keeping Bolas's Citadel active to tear through the library. You close out the game through sweeping combat damage with huge hydras and saprolings, mass lifedrain from Bolas's Citadel or Blood Artist, or direct table-wide burns using Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord sacrificing enormous devoured creatures.
