Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Temur creature combo list commanded by Animar, Soul of Elements. The game plan revolves around rapidly developing 2-CMC mana dorks to deploy Animar on turn 3, followed by a flurry of cheap artifact creatures that build counters and accelerate colorless discounts. Once Animar reaches four +1/+1 counters, the deck seeks to cast Ancestral Statue, which costs {0} and self-bounces indefinitely to generate infinite casts and infinite power. This combo terminates the game immediately when paired with Impact Tremors or Warstorm Surge, or delivers lethal combat damage via trample enablers like Zegana, Utopian Speaker. While Animar boasts innate protection from white and black, the list foregoes traditional instant interaction and countermagic, relying heavily on engine velocity and top-end Eldrazi threats to overrun opponents before they can exploit its low defensive shielding.
