Deck overview

This deck is a Simic landfall and face-down creature strategy commanded by Zimone, Mystery Unraveler. The main game plan accelerates mana in the early turns, casts Zimone by turn 4, and triggers multiple landfalls on turn 5. The first landfall trigger manifests dread, placing a face-down 2/2 creature onto the battlefield, while the second trigger turns that permanent face up for free. This allows the deck to bypass mana costs on massive game-ending permanents such as Worldspine Wurm, Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Hullbreaker Horror, and Avenger of Zendikar. Backed by secondary engines like Scroll of Fate, Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait, and Ancient Greenwarden, the deck continuously floods the board with threats and card advantage. It overwhelms opponents through massive combat damage buffed by Overwhelming Stampede or locks down opponents with asymmetric hand disruption and bounce effects.
