Deck overview

This deck is an Aristocrats attrition engine commanded by Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker. The strategy revolves around sacrificing creatures with power 1 or less to free sacrifice outlets, then returning them to the battlefield at the beginning of each player's end step via Shirei's ability. This four-fold recursion per turn cycle generates overwhelming card advantage through creatures like Dusk Legion Zealot and Mindless Automaton, while systematically dismantling opposing boards with Abyssal Gatekeeper, Bone Shredder, and Dictate of Erebos. The deck converts this resource dominance into a table finish using drain payoffs such as Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Serrated Scorpion, and Marionette Master, backed by high-impact finishers like Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Rise of the Dark Realms. Protection equipment and regeneration auras safeguard Shirei from removal, while black ramp and tutors ensure consistent mid-game assembly and recovery.
