Deck overview

This Selesnya enchantress deck leverages Ellivere of the Wild Court to turn early creatures into scaling combat threats while converting combat connections into steady card advantage. The strategy opens on turns 1 and 2 by accelerating mana with ramp auras like Utopia Sprawl or creatures such as Sanctum Weaver and Paradise Druid. Deploying Ellivere on turn 3 or 4 immediately enchants an ally with a Virtuous Role, giving it a power and toughness boost equal to the total number of enchantments in play. Subsequent attacks generate additional Virtuous Roles, quickly presenting multiple towering beaters that outscale opposing blockers. Draw engines like Setessan Champion and Eidolon of Blossoms ensure a full grip of replacement threats and protection pieces. The deck closes games through overwhelming combat damage augmented by Ancestral Mask, Mantle of the Ancients, or asymmetric sweepers like Winds of Rath, with Retether providing resilient recovery against board disruption.
