Deck overview

This mono-red deck is commanded by Thor, God of Thunder, blending spellslinger burn with aggressive Voltron combat and damage multiplication. The primary game plan develops mana across the first four turns, establishes Thor on Turn 5, and immediately transitions into a lethal threat on Turn 6 using damage triplers like Fiery Emancipation or high-impact Equipment like The Reaver Cleaver. Thor turns every noncreature spell into direct burn scaling with its mana value while attacking as an evasive 5/5 flyer. Protection spells such as Deflecting Swat and Equipment like Commander's Plate shield Thor from removal, while dense creature sweepers and targeted burn keep the battlefield clear. An alternate win condition exists through an infinite combat loop with Aggravated Assault and The Reaver Cleaver. While susceptible to enchantment-based interaction and mass exile, the deck applies severe, fast-paced pressure that closes games cleanly by Turn 8.
