Format: Commander

Commander: Mendicant Core, Guidelight

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Mendicant Core, Guidelight leads an Azorius artifact-midrange deck that floods the board with cheap artifacts, converts them into cards, mana, and large creatures, then wins through combat. The commander is primarily a late-game multiplier: once speed reaches 4, it turns nearly every artifact cast into a second token copy for {1}. Urza, Lord High Artificer is the hidden commander, providing mana, a growing Construct, and top-deck casting. Sai, Mystic Forge, Emry, and affinity draw spells keep the hand full. Secondary lines are recursion-based: Dance of the Manse and Brilliant Restoration rebuild after wipes, while Cyberdrive Awakener and March of Progress turn the artifact horde into a massive board.
