Deck overview

Zimone, Infinite Analyst leads a Simic stompy engine focused on cast-scaling {X} spells and +1/+1 counter synergies. The deck accelerates through early ramp spells and drops Zimone on Turn 3. Casting an initial {X} spell on Turn 4 places counters on Zimone, reducing the cost of subsequent {X} spells each turn. As the mana discount compounds alongside cards like Elementalist's Palette and Unbound Flourishing, the deck pivots to explosive plays on Turn 6, deploying massive token swarms with Gelatinous Genesis or giant tramplers like Primo, the Unbounded and Primordial Hydra. While the strategy generates overwhelming mana and card advantage through scaling draw spells like Pull from Tomorrow, it remains vulnerable to sweepers due to its reliance on combat steps without built-in haste. Targeted protection from Silkguard and flexible wipes like Oversimplify help maintain stability as the deck overwhelms opponents across consecutive combat steps.
