Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Voltron Midrange build centered on the partner pair Pako, Arcane Retriever and Haldan, Avid Arcanist. The game plan accelerates mana rapidly during the first two turns using a dense suite of 1-mana dorks and 2-mana ramp spells. Pako hits the battlefield on Turn 3 with haste, growing larger on every attack by exiling noncreature cards from all four players. Once Haldan enters on Turn 4, the deck converts those exiled cards into a massive virtual hand, spending mana of any color to cast opponents' spells and hit additional land drops. Win conditions center on dealing lethal commander damage with Pako, augmented by trample from Kessig Wolf Run and unblockability from Aqueous Form. The list runs a high density of noncreature spells, ensuring Pako grows rapidly while fueling an interactive control shell of counterspells and removal.
