Deck overview

Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice commands an explosive Voltron-stax strategy that turns every Aura cast into a double-tutor toolbox. By casting low-cost Auras on curve, Light-Paws searches the library for complementary buffs, evasion, and defensive keywords, rapidly transforming into an unblockable, double-striking lethal threat by Turn 4. The deck establishes significant tempo by breaking parity on symmetrical spell-restriction pieces like Rule of Law, Archon of Emeria, and Deafening Silence. While opponents are limited to a single spell each turn, Light-Paws doubles its spell output by putting tutored Auras directly onto the battlefield. Built-in tutoring for Shielded by Faith, Benevolent Blessing, and Hyena Umbra shields the commander from most removal, supported by cheap instant-speed protection like Karametra's Blessing and Surge of Salvation. Although the deck must navigate multiplayer combat over three separate attack phases to eliminate all opponents, its potent combination of proactive denial, on-demand protection, and rapid commander damage makes it a formidable proactive force.
