Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir combo-control list helmed by Oona, Queen of the Fae. It combines high-velocity fast mana and premier black tutors with the compact win condition of Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation. Backing up this primary combo is a resilient secondary framework featuring Grim Monolith and Power Artifact for infinite mana, alongside the storm package of Bolas's Citadel, Sensei's Divining Top, and Aetherflux Reservoir. In the early turns, the deck utilizes format-defining draw engines like Mystic Remora, Rhystic Study, and The One Ring to out-resource the table while holding up cheap and free countermagic such as Force of Will and Fierce Guardianship. A Faerie kindred sub-theme provides flying blockers, chip damage, and incidental synergy with cards like Alela, Cunning Conqueror and Spellstutter Sprite, allowing the deck to transition smoothly between a control posture and a rapid same-turn victory.
