Vren Commander by user5095854

Format: Commander

Commander: Vren, the Relentless

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a UB rat-tribal control deck. Its primary plan is to keep Vren, the Relentless on board while chaining sacrifice and removal spells, so that every opponent creature that dies is exiled and becomes a 1/1 Rat at your end step. The secondary path uses Tribute to Horobi and Piper of the Swarm to generate additional Rats, then Marrow-Gnawer and Cover of Darkness turn a wide board into a lethal, unblockable strike. A hidden commander, Marrow-Gnawer, serves as the token-doubling finisher. The deck also packs strong interaction: counterspells, edicts, and board wipes that double as Vren fuel.
