Deck overview

Kuja, Genome Sorcerer leads a Rakdos spellslinger burn deck designed to incinerate all three opponents simultaneously. The primary game plan accelerates into an early Kuja on Turn 3 using low-cost mana rocks like Arcane Signet and Talisman of Indulgence. Kuja generates Wizard tokens that deal noncombat damage to each opponent whenever noncreature spells are cast. Once Kuja transforms into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, all Wizard damage doubles. On Turn 5, the deck unleashes a storm-like burst of one-mana cantrips, rituals such as Dark Ritual and Jeska's Will, and burn spells, amplified by cards like Harmonic Prodigy, Coruscation Mage, and Solphim, Mayhem Dominus. A robust suite of free and low-cost interaction, including Deflecting Swat, Deadly Rollick, and Feign Death, protects the engine while disrupting opposing strategies, reliably finishing the table across two explosive turns.
