Format: Commander

Commander: Bard, King of Dale

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Bard, King of Dale is an Azorius draw-and-token doubler deck. The primary plan uses Bard to double extra draws and token creation, then converts second-card-draw triggers (Alandra, Prince Imrahil, Council of Four, Homunculus Horde) into a wide board that wins through Moonshaker Cavalry or Halo Fountain. Secondary paths are Psychosis Crawler drain that pings on each doubled draw and Laboratory Maniac decking with heavy draw. Bard is the central multiplier and draw engine, not a combo piece. Anointed Procession and Elspeth, Storm Slayer act as hidden commanders, providing the same token-doubling effect when Bard is unavailable and enabling the deck to function without him.
