Leo and Raph 2.0 by skarsev

Format: Commander

Commander: Leonardo, the Balance and Raphael, the Muscle

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a five-color token and +1/+1 counter synergy deck helmed by the Partner-Character pair Leonardo, the Balance and Raphael, the Muscle. The core loop is simple and explosive: generate a wide board of tokens, multiply them with doublers like Adrix and Nev, Twincasters and Mondrak, Glory Dominus, then stack +1/+1 counters via Corpsejack Menace, Hardened Scales, and Innkeeper's Talent while Leonardo spreads counters across the team on every token entry. Raphael then doubles all combat damage from creatures carrying counters, turning a modest swarm into a lethal alpha strike. The deck leans heavily on Mutagen tokens as a flexible counter-delivery system, with The Ooze, Mutagen Man, Living Ooze, and Michelangelo, Weirdness to 11 feeding the engine. Secondary wins include Tendershoot Dryad Saproling beats, a 10/10 Eldrazi from Idol of Oblivion, and Biogenic Ooze as a mana sink. It is a grindy, value-driven combat deck with no fast combo lines.
