I am Fire, I am DEATH (Mono Red Artifact Burn) by FaithfulFailure

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Magnificent

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Smaug the Magnificent leads a mono-red Treasure deck that turns artifact density into direct damage. The primary plan is to create as many Treasures as possible through Smaug's upkeep and attack-triggered creatures, then fire Smaug's attack trigger at opponents for lethal. Secondary wins come from an infinite-combat engine using Knuckles the Echidna, Goldspan Dragon, and Aggravated Assault; Goldspan makes Treasures tap for two, and Knuckles' double-strike triggers keep the loop funded. Artifact-ETB pings, damage doublers, Alchemist's Talent, and a Grafted Exoskeleton infect line serve as alternate finishes. Knuckles acts as a hidden commander: the tutors and Treasure flow most often set up its combat loop even when Smaug is answered.
