Doom Prevails - Upgraded by user2271086

Format: Commander

Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Doctor Doom, King of Latveria leads a Villain-tribal discard/connive midrange deck. The primary game plan is to use the commander and other connive enablers (Leader, Super-Genius, Ultron, Unlimited, Mask of the Schemer) to draw cards, discard lands and other cards, then convert every discard into value through payoffs like Archfiend of Ifnir, Faith of the Devoted, Bone Miser, Syr Konrad, the Grim, and Magmakin Artillerist. The deck builds a board of Villains, pumps them with Doctor Octopus, Master Planner and Iron Monger, Sadistic Tycoon, and finishes via incremental drain, combat damage with menace, or an Underworld Breach + Windfall + Syr Konrad loop. Wound Reflection doubles any life loss for a sudden kill.
