Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy tempo burn strategy built around Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. It curves out with 1-mana evasive creatures on Turn 1 to enable Commander Ninjutsu on Turn 2, immediately generating card advantage and dealing table-wide direct life loss. By pairing topdeck manipulation (Brainstorm, Sensei's Divining Top, Vampiric Tutor) with high-mana payoffs (Blightsteel Colossus, Temporal Trespass, Expropriate), the deck deals large bursts of unblockable damage to all opponents simultaneously. Elite free counterspells (Force of Will, Flare of Denial, Pact of Negation) protect aggressive swings while preserving mana for combat abilities, creating a resilient clock that closes games around Turn 5.
