Deck overview

This Edgar Markov deck is an optimized Mardu Vampire Aristocrats and combo build engineered for rapid early board presence and sudden, decisive finishes. Driven by Edgar's eminence ability, every cheap Vampire cast creates a 1/1 token from the command zone without mana overhead. The list leverages format-staple fast mana and premier black tutors to establish explosive card engines including Skullclamp, Necropotence, and Bolas's Citadel. Its primary win condition is the two-card infinite drain loop combining Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Marauding Blight-Priest. Secondary win conditions rely on lethal token swarms amplified by Shared Animosity, Cathars' Crusade, and Akroma's Will, supported by creature locks via Grave Pact. Protected by silence effects and efficient free spells, the deck executes a highly compressed clock with resilient multi-angle finishes.
