Deck overview

This deck is a Simic midrange swarm deck led by Tawnos, the Toymaker. It uses early ramp to cast Tawnos on Turn 4, then immediately leverages his ability to duplicate Beast and Bird creature spells as artifact creature tokens. By doubling up on high-value threats like Rampaging Baloths, Thunderfoot Baloth, and mutate creatures like Auspicious Starrix, the deck rapidly overwhelms the board with massive bodies. Card advantage engines such as Wirewood Savage and Garruk's Uprising draw cards whenever these creatures enter, keeping the hand full of gas. Combat finishers including Overwhelming Stampede, Overrun, and Unnatural Growth turn the duplicated board into a lethal strike around Turn 6-7. Additionally, the deck packs an infinite mana backup combo with Deadeye Navigator and Peregrine Drake. The deck balances explosive creature production with light countermagic and protective ward effects.
