Deck overview

This Dimir deck executes a classic Zombie Tribal Aristocrats strategy led by Grimgrin, Corpse-Born. The game plan revolves around deploying low-cost Zombie fodder like Gravecrawler and Stitcher's Supplier, developing engine pieces such as Undead Augur and Bastion of Remembrance, and utilizing Grimgrin as a free sacrifice outlet and repeatable removal engine. The deck establishes its core engine by Turn 5 and applies critical pressure by Turn 6 through wide Zombie combat, lord buffs from Death Baron and Undead Warchief, and aristocrat drain. It features an infinite combo win condition using Rooftop Storm and Gravecrawler to infinitely grow Grimgrin and drain the table. While the deck boasts immense graveyard recursion via Living Death and Reanimate, it possesses minimal instant-speed stack interaction and no countermagic, leaving its multi-piece board state exposed to well-timed exile effects, graveyard hate, and fast combo strategies.
