Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon is a Boros token engine that converts every successful attack into an ever-growing horde of 1/1 Gnome tokens. The primary plan is to play Anim early, attack each turn, and support the trigger with token-anthems, +1/+1 counter synergies, and ETB drain effects such as Purphoros and Impact Tremors. Secondary paths include an aggressive go-wide combat finish behind Neyali's double strike or Warleader's Call, and an artifact-ETB ping route using Reckless Fireweaver and Ingenious Artillerist. The commander is the main engine, but the deck still functions through other token producers once removed. A flexible instant-speed protection suite and The Ozolith keep the plan resilient, while Enlightened Tutor helps find a key payoff.
