Deck overview

This Naya deck is commanded by Toph, the First Metalbender and focuses on turning lands and nontoken artifacts into powerful, resilient creature threats. By using the Earthbend mechanic, lands gain +1/+1 counters and haste while retaining a built-in safety net: if they die or are exiled, they return to the battlefield tapped. This turns typical board wipes into ramp. The deck accelerates in the opening turns with efficient mana dorks and land search spells before deploying Toph on Turn 4. From Turn 5 onward, explosive payoffs like Bumi, Unleashed, Moraug, Fury of Akoum, and Toph, Greatest Earthbender grant extra combat phases and double strike to close out games. Key protection pieces like Sylvan Safekeeper and Heroic Intervention shield high-value creatures, while spot exile removal keeps opponents in check.
