Kaalia of the Vast by Shiv

Format: Commander

Commander: Kaalia of the Vast

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mardu beatdown strategy helmed by Kaalia of the Vast, aiming to cheat enormous Angels, Demons, and Dragons into play tapped and attacking. The primary game plan is to ramp into Kaalia, protect her, and then chain extra combat effects-via Aurelia, the Warleader, Eomer, Marshal of Rohan, Overpowering Attack, and All-Out Assault-to overwhelm opponents with multiple waves of free, high-power creatures. The deck also packs a handful of recursion pieces (Loyal Retainers, Reya Dawnbringer) and a moderate removal suite, but it lacks counterspells and fast combo lines, relying entirely on combat damage to close out games.
