Deck overview

This Jund deck is an attrition-focused control strategy built around -1/-1 counters, wither mechanics, and creature theft. Commanded by The Reaper, King No More, the deck aims to systematically shrink and dismantle opposing boards while converting dying enemy creatures into its own board presence. Early turns focus on mana fixing and setting up value engines such as Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Auntie Ool, Cursewretch, or The Scorpion God. In the midgame, sweepers like Black Sun's Zenith and repeatable counter distributors like Carnifex Demon weaken opposing armies. The deck transitions into a dominant late game with Kulrath Knight, which prevents all creatures with counters from attacking or blocking. Victory is achieved by overrunning opponents using stolen enemy threats, deathtouch Snake tokens, and resilient evasive beaters.
