Kastral Birds by elopes

Format: Commander

Commander: Kastral, the Windcrested

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Kastral, the Windcrested leads a Bird tribal aggro deck that turns a swarm of cheap flying creatures into card advantage and a finisher. The primary plan is to attack with multiple Birds each turn, using Kastral's trigger to draw, pump the board with +1/+1 counters, or reanimate a Bird from the graveyard. Secondary paths include token bursts from Battle Screech, Murmuration, and Reflections of Littjara, plus anthem effects like Empyrean Eagle, Steel-Plume Marshal, and Sephara, Sky's Blade to make the flying army lethal. The deck is not combo-based; it wins through repeated combat damage, with interaction in blue-white to protect its board and answer opposing permanents. There is no hidden commander; Kastral is the engine.
