Deck overview

This Izzet artifact deck is helmed by Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man, a two-faced commander that offers both card selection and a powerful cheat-into-play engine. The front side provides repeatable artifact tutoring from the top of the library, while the back side (haste, flying) puts an artifact from hand onto the battlefield each combat and attaches Equipment to itself. The deck aims to deploy a dense artifact count, use Equipment to make the commander a lethal threat, and generate value through attack triggers (Sword of Feast and Famine, Sword of Hearth and Home) and artifact synergies (Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain, Ultron, Artificial Malevolence). Primary win conditions include commander damage via double strike and extra combat steps (Genji Glove), or cheating in Blightsteel Colossus for an infect kill. The deck is heavily artifact-centric, with over half its nonland cards being artifacts, making it vulnerable to mass artifact hate.
