Deck overview

This Golgari deck uses Glissa, the Traitor as an engine centerpiece to grind out card advantage through artifact recursion and creature removal. The deck accelerates in the opening turns with mana rocks like Sol Ring, Mana Vault, and Talisman of Resilience. It controls the battlefield by pairing Glissa's death-trigger recursion with cheap sacrifice artifacts such as Executioner's Capsule and Haywire Mite. Once stable, the deck transitions into its primary win condition: combining Mystic Forge, a cost reducer like Foundry Inspector or Cloud Key, and Sensei's Divining Top to draw the entire library. From there, it casts Krark-Clan Ironworks and Marionette Master, sacrificing surplus artifacts to drain all three opponents in a single turn. Backup strategies include token swarms from Imotekh the Stormlord, Mindslaver locks, or aggressive commander damage with Cranial Plating and Tainted Strike.
