Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Mono-Green Landfall deck helmed by Nissa, Resurgent Animist. It leverages efficient early ramp and fetchlands to assemble Nissa on Turn 2 or Turn 3, converting every second land drop into both mana velocity and targeted creature selection. The deck chains land recursion through Lumra, Bellow of the Woods, Ancient Greenwarden, and Crucible of Worlds to generate overwhelming mana and trigger token engines such as Avenger of Zendikar, Scute Swarm, and Field of the Dead. On Turn 5, explosive spells like Scapeshift or massive creature drops establish a lethal board state, closing the game on Turn 6 with Craterhoof Behemoth or Finale of Devastation. While the deck features robust engine recovery and efficient anti-countermagic protection, its mono-green identity limits instant-speed stack interaction against fast combo strategies.
