Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color tribal control build centered on Reaper King. It leverages an optimized mana base of original dual lands, fetchlands, and efficient mana dorks like Bloom Tender and Faeburrow Elder to deploy the commander ahead of curve on Turn 4. Once Reaper King enters the battlefield, every subsequent Scarecrow or Changeling acts as a targeted removal spell, destroying opposing lands, commanders, and engines. Doubling effects like Panharmonicon and Reflections of Littjara turn low-cost creatures into multi-target board wipes. Premium draw engines such as Rhystic Study, Kindred Discovery, and The Great Henge keep the hand refueled with fresh threats. Free protection spells like Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat defend the board against opposing interaction. The deck closes games by clearing blockers with Reaper King triggers and attacking for lethal damage using anthems like Beastmaster Ascension, Cathars' Crusade, and Mirror Entity.
