Deck overview

This deck is a thematic Boros Dwarf tribal and Equipment aggro build led by Thorin Oakenshield. It aims to assemble a loyal warband of Dwarves, arm them with iconic weaponry like Orcrist, Goblin-cleaver, Sting, Bilbo's Sword, and Sword of Feast and Famine, and achieve Storied threshold to grant widespread ward protection. The primary game plan revolves around curving out with efficient Dwarf warriors, establishing an enduring board presence, and leveraging tribal anthems such as An Unexpected Party, Plated Onslaught, and Fíli the Pathfinder to push through lethal combat damage. While it lacks fast combo finishes, tutor packages, or heavy stax locks, the deck offers solid resilience through instant-speed protection like Resistance Reunited and Concerted Care, alongside steady value generation from The Arkenstone and Balin, Loremaster. It delivers consistent, honest combat pressure best suited for flavorful casual commander tables.
