Deck overview

This high-power competitive Jund deck pairs Reyhan, Last of the Abzan and Dargo, the Shipwrecker to execute a blazing-fast aristocrats combo. The primary strategy leverages Dargo's unique cost reduction mechanic: because sacrificing permanents reduces Dargo's casting cost by {2} each and counts all previous sacrifices that turn, Dargo's commander tax is completely neutralized once three permanents have been sacrificed. When combined with a single mana engine like Birgi, God of Storytelling or Relic of Legends and a sacrifice outlet like Altar of Dementia, Dargo can be cast and sacrificed an infinite number of times for just {R}, milling out the entire table on Turn 2 or 3. Backed by explosive fast mana, Ad Nauseam, Underworld Breach, and creature-based silence effects like Dosan the Falling Leaf and Hexing Squelcher, the deck boasts format-ceiling speed, high redundancy, and potent recovery lines.
