Deck overview

This is a mono-blue Merfolk tempo/swarm deck built around Namor the Sub-Mariner. Namor converts every blue-pipped noncreature spell into a batch of 1/1 Merfolk, so the deck chains countermagic, bounce, and draw spells while simultaneously building a board. The primary path to victory is a critical mass of Merfolk pushed through by a dense lord suite - Lord of Atlantis, Master of the Pearl Trident, Merfolk Sovereign, Merrow Reejerey, Attuma, Atlantean Warlord, and Roaming Throne - and finished with islandwalk/unblockable combat. Card flow comes from Kindred Discovery, Bident of Thassa, Seafloor Oracle, and Attuma. A secondary big-mana plan uses Mind Over Matter with Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx or Three Tree City to power Blue Sun's Zenith draws, while Omniscience can turn a late hand into an overwhelming token turn.
