Deck overview

This Boros deck combines Dwarf tribal synergies with Equipment beatdown under the leadership of Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. The early game focuses on deploying low-curve Dwarves and utility Equipment to establish board presence. Once Thorin enters on Turn 5, every Dwarf cast generates a Treasure token while granting other Dwarves an escalating power boost based on the number of artifact tokens controlled. Double-strike enablers like Reyav, Master Smith and Dáin Ironfoot, alongside scaling Equipment such as Nettlecyst, convert these stat boosts into lethal combat swings starting on Turn 6. While the deck possesses explosive combat potential and solid redundant threats, its 31-land count and thin early ramp make it vulnerable to mana stumbling. Furthermore, a lack of stack interaction and sweeper protection leaves its wide creature boards exposed to board wipes.
