Deck overview

This Izzet deck is helmed by Ganax, Astral Hunter and the Background Feywild Visitor, executing a Dragon tribal strategy focused on airborne aggression, Treasure generation, and burn synergies. Early turns establish mana acceleration through artifacts, cost-reducers like Dragonlord's Servant and Dragonspeaker Shaman, and Feywild Visitor. Ganax, Astral Hunter lands on Turn 4, immediately generating a Treasure token and turning every subsequent Dragon into additional mana. When nontoken creatures connect in combat, Feywild Visitor spawns 1/1 Faerie Dragon tokens, which trigger Ganax for further Treasures. The deck transitions into a lethal threat around Turn 6 by deploying powerhouse Dragons such as Lathliss, Dragon Queen, Scourge of the Throne, and Twinflame Tyrant, or stacking burn engines like Dragon Tempest and Warstorm Surge. A dense package of 1-3 mana counterspells and asymmetric bounce spells protects the board and clears blockers, culminating in a flying combat and direct-damage finish by Turn 8.
