Sheoldred by Kocelski

Format: Commander

Commander: Sheoldred, the Apocalypse

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Built almost entirely in black, this deck makes every draw step hurt. Sheoldred, the Apocalypse is the commander: she punishes opponent draw triggers with life loss, fuels a life-gain engine, and serves as a stax piece against draw-heavy decks. The primary plan is incremental drain paired with huge draw spells, but the actual kill is usually the infinite Exquisite Blood loop with Vito or Sanguine Bond. Secondary paths use Bloodletter of Aclazotz with Peer into the Abyss, or Bolas's Citadel plus life-payment card advantage to cast Exsanguinate or Torment of Hailfire for lethal. The deck plays a controlling midrange game with hand disruption, creature removal, and graveyard hate before converting life totals into a combo finish.
