Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Jund aggressive engine built around Ognis, the Dragon's Lash. It leverages low-curve creatures with natural haste to immediately generate tapped Treasure tokens whenever they attack with Ognis on board. Once the mana engine is rolling, the deck converts raw artifact volume into lethal damage through aristocrat and artifact-ETB burn triggers like Mirkwood Bats, Reckless Fireweaver, and Marionette Apprentice, or overruns the board using finishers such as Craterclaw Colossus. While lacking the fast mana and ubiquitous tutors of competitive formats, it executes a consistent, rapid game plan that applies widespread pressure by turn 5. Defensive interaction and free Commander spells provide cover against spot removal, while an incidental infinite combo in Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Zealous Conscripts offers an alternate out against stalemated boards.
