Deck overview

This Golgari Midrange Reanimator deck utilizes Meren of Clan Nel Toth to generate consistent graveyard value while ramping toward overwhelming combat finishers. The early game focuses on deploying efficient mana dorks like Birds of Paradise and Llanowar Elves to cast Meren and midrange value engines ahead of curve. As creatures die in combat or through utility sacrifices, Meren builds experience counters to recur threats directly to the battlefield each end step. Midgame support from planeswalkers like Garruk, Cursed Huntsman and enchantments like Garruk's Uprising maintains card flow and board presence. The deck closes games around turn 7 by resolving game-ending overruns such as Craterhoof Behemoth, End-Raze Forerunners, or mass reanimation via Rise of the Dark Realms. While it lacks instant-speed stack interaction and dedicated stax pieces, its dense ramp suite and high creature quality provide steady resilience and decisive combat pressure.
