Deck overview

This mono-black deck leverages Varragoth, Bloodsky Sire as a repeatable Vampiric Tutor in the command zone to consistently assemble punishing life-drain synergies and game-ending combos. The primary strategy focuses on deploying Varragoth on Turn 3, attacking on Turn 4 to boast-tutor Bloodletter of Aclazotz, and deploying it on Turn 5 to double all opponent life loss. On Turn 6, the deck resolves Fraying Omnipotence, which forces each opponent to lose half their life rounded up; doubled by Bloodletter, this instantly deals lethal damage to all three opponents simultaneously. In parallel, the deck deploys symmetric draw engines like Howling Mine and Font of Mythos alongside severe punisher pieces such as Ob Nixilis, Unshackled, Mornsong Aria, Painful Quandary, and Archfiend of Depravity. This creates an oppressive attrition web that limits opposing resources while fueling rapid mana acceleration through Crypt Ghast and Cabal Coffers.
