Deck overview

This deck is a specialized 5-color Polymorph Control deck piloted by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The list excludes small utility creatures entirely, dedicating creature slots exclusively to high-impact finishers and game-warping bombs such as Blightsteel Colossus, Toxrill, the Corrosive, Archon of Cruelty, Valgavoth, Terror Eater, and Gisela, Blade of Goldnight. The game plan utilizes cheap noncreature token generators, including Dreadhorde Invasion, Skrelv's Hive, and Staff of the Storyteller, alongside a dense package of 2-CMC mana rocks to establish mana fixing and early board presence. On Turn 4, the deck deploys Jace and immediately fires his -3 ability to transform a token into an overwhelming creature threat. Backed by board wipes, interaction, planeswalker synergies like Oath of Teferi, and secondary polymorph spells, the deck locks down opposing boards and closes the game through relentless combat pressure.
