King Vivi the Great by user2700409

Format: Commander

Commander: Vivi Ornitier

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck is helmed by Vivi Ornitier, a commander that grows with each noncreature spell and generates mana equal to its power once per turn. The primary plan is to chain cheap instants and sorceries, using copy effects like Double Vision and Galvanic Iteration to multiply value, while Veyran, Voice of Duality doubles Vivi's ping damage. The deck can pivot into an infinite damage combo with Niv-Mizzet, Parun + Curiosity, or a storm kill via Brain Freeze. Without reliable tutors, it depends on drawing into its key pieces, but a dense suite of cantrips and card-draw engines (Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, Archmage Emeritus) keeps the gas flowing.
