Deck overview

This Gruul deck is an aggressive tribal strategy led by Tovolar, Dire Overlord // Tovolar, the Midnight Scourge. The primary game plan curves low-cost Wolves and Werewolves on early turns, deploys Tovolar on Turn 3, and immediately attacks to convert combat damage into card draw. On Turn 4, Tovolar's upkeep trigger shifts the game into Nightbound, transforming all Human Werewolves into high-stat threats with menace, trample, and potent activated abilities.
